What exactly do you mean by "when i connect to my trading service."? If you select File >> Disconnect, then you will not get any data into the system. If you are referring to a change in your Current Selected Service on the Data/Trade Service Settings window, then you would get data, but you would have to ensure that you have updated your symbols to match the currently selected service.
