I lack the words needed to describe how complicated the setup-process seems to be, When it comes to getting started with Sierra Chart there is nothing to set up. You have immediate access to delayed market data. There is some complexity with real time CME data due to exchange rules.Follow the instructions here to get started: Getting Started, Opening Charts and Basic Trading When I click "Data/trade service settings" and input my account details with transact futures I just get a message that I cannot connect.
Yes this does make sense and it has to do with the complexity with Transact. This is not about Sierra Chart. You need to contact Transact support for help with the connection. If they do not help you we can recommend a different broker. It is their responsibility to help you with this . We simply cannot.
