This is no longer a huge issue for me. Rolling back to version 2240 immediately solved the chart linking unresponsive issue for me. I am interested to know if v.2243 had a "link" bug so that if fixed, I can update to the latest version. Thank you I run 2 instances of SC. One for IBKR, and another for Futures trading. The IBKR version is running v.2243, and the futures is running 2240. In 2240 links work as normal, and v.2243 for IBKR is unresponsive. Rolling that back now to 2240.
