I have noticed some significant delays/lag/freezing of my DOM and all other charts the last few weeks, many of these issues have only occurred since the switch from Denali/TT(Fix) to Denali/CQG. This problem seems to occur almost EVERY single OPEN and at times of HIGH volume... Two days ago my console froze at 9:29:59 EST and didn't catch up for over 10 seconds. This morning it froze at the price 3861.00 on MES DOM (and 3861.5 on ES) within five minutes of the open (the market then went down to an excess low of 3858.25 ... WHICH I DID NOT SEE) and did not unfreeze until it was back to 3863.00 .. I have also noticed that my "Clock - real time" study will freeze and skip 1-3 seconds at a time, several times in an hour throughout the day... I have updated to the latest versions of Sierra, removed custom studies, removed MANY of my low tick refresh studies/charts (ex. Bid Ask depth bars for multiple instruments, 10 second refresh charts, etc) - yet the issue remains... I know FOR SURE it is not my internet connection or laptop, because I have an identical computer running ThinkorSwim and it DOES NOT freeze or lag concurrently with Sierra Chart. I am extremely frustrated at this point, and do not know how to proceed (it feels like if I can't guess the excess....that I am unable to trade at certain price levels/times).... Is there any way you can help identify what is going on? Edit: this morning I decided to run one of my charts with the bid ask depth bars on (4 tick refresh) for ES - and noticed that the GAPS in data match pretty closely with the freezes in my console [this chart/study has previously been closed and the same lag has occurred]- I have attached a screenshot for reference, as I have no other way of validating these errors without filming my screen with my phone constantly....)
