It is true that we programmed in a limit for the maximum number of records displayed in the Time and Sales window itself because one thing we came to realize is that unless someone clears the Time and Sales window, or closes that window, there is an uncontrolled amount of memory allocation which will occur. We can always increase the limit. We will do that. But we cannot allow it to get too big because eventually this will cause the program to abnormally shutdown. Thinking about this some more, if you want to look at historical ticks, you just use the chart itself and set the chart bars to 1 Number of Trades per bar. Make sure the Intraday Data Storage Time Unit is set to 1 tick. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
