@SC: I found another use of the Google Datafeed, that maybe will change your mind, also in fully supporting it in the future. Regarding the shutdown of “Replacement for CBOE Indices Historical Daily Data”, as posted here: Notice: Replacement for CBOE Indices Historical Daily Data There are tons of Indices on Google for free with delayed Data, also those for CBOE or ICE. Examples: INDEXCBOE: VIX INDEXCBOE: VIX9D INDEXNYSEGIS: MOVE As most of the users need this Indices only for analysis (mainly as a support for trading on related instrument and not for trading per se), these would be a perfect alternative option and far better than indices with equivalent calculation.
