Why not use the equivalent crypto currency symbols from other exchanges, does it really matter? The Bitstamp interface is quite old and out of date and this is why it was discontinued. seemingly abandoned plan to port to Linux, This is not true.We were never in any way responsible for the problems with this service: periodic problems with data fetch from Poloniex (and when it's back online - weeks long gaps in data that nobody cares to fill in), It was always out of our control and that is why it was shut down. We should have done that long ago.long time without integration with other crypto exchanges (and when it finally comes in face of Binance - no historical data), This is because we do not want to get involved in the development with these, all of the associated issues and specialized interfaces.. Many other crypto traders sticking to TV because of their quick integrations with every smallest exchange out there. Great. They can more than waste their valuable time on this level of absurdity. We will have nothing to do with this. It is the height of massive monumental insanity, that every exchange, while in some ways they are similar, they all have their own interfaces and messages and fields and every integration requires custom development. This is God damn completely insane. We are never going to go through all of this effort to be integrating to these things and maintaining them. This is stupidity to the maximum. This is why we established the DTC protocol. If everyone else in the world wants to be a bunch of dummies and doing their own thing rather than utilizing a standardized properly engineered protocol they can go ahead. We could care less.And we do not care, if we are one and facing a million others telling us we are wrong. Because they are wrong and we are right. And the integration a Binance, only a reaffirms what we said above even further. It is pathetic. We have a very very poor impression of them.
