Given what you have stated, it sounds like it may just be because you are trying to connect to CQG from two different systems at the same time. You would need to check with your Broker about whether you can make multiple connections to CQG at the same time.

If you are only connecting from your Laptop and you are positive that you have fully exited Sierra Chart on your other system, such that the installation on the Laptop is the only running Sierra Chart, then we would need to see your Message Log in order to understand what may be occurring.
