The first thing is that when you are using the Volume by Price on the Trading DOM, the Ticks per Volume Bar is set to a value of 1 and cannot be changed. Except by changing the Volume at Price Multiplier. When you change the Volume at Price Multiplier, the Ticks per Volume Bar is going to update to match that value. This is what is described in the last paragraphs of the section linked previously.
