We will have to see about moving the threads. Users would have to get an email notification that it has happened and given a new link.
Yes but it can be an extra job to you. Only a suggestion, you can tag the thread as [MOVED] and leave it as a temporary reference in the main section (for example 7 or 15 days then this reference disappear from the main forum) linking it to the new position in the new subforum.
