We are not sure exactly what you are looking for, but the most likely thing is make sure you enable the following setting: General Settings Window: Allow New Data In Unlocked Fill Space (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Charts >> Charts) The other thing that is possible is that you have the Fill Space locked.
