ok this is NO bueno. You have to be able to cancel out those futures trades. Example-I trade options too. So if I buy 10 calls on Friday expiry and hedge them with futures I do in my SC dom then at EOD the in the money calls cancel the long futures and my statement with clearer shows me flat. You are saying that the 10 lot future is going to stay on Do?. Well, that is silly. What do clients do who trade es options with you and hedge w futures? You must be able to clear out the positions. I used TT pro for the past 19 years. Whatever I traded the prior day options or futures, and whether they were open trades or not, were all zero'ed out once I logged off TT and logged back on. If your platform sits on TT then why doesn't yours do that simple step? Also, I have CME Direct. I buy 2 lots in ES today, tomorrow when I log on into CME Direct there is zero position. Either I am being dumb and misunderstanding totally this, or your platform is umm in need of a major change. I will send a copy of this to Ray too. Thank you as always for your time.
