EMAIL BETWEEN RITHMIC AND MYSELF: ME Eric, I am not sure if I understand you. Let me be clear about what I am doing: Two Contracts Stop Limit Order Sell Above Price Again, I have been making this type of trade for over a year with two issues that I reported to you, It was fixed by you [ or seemingly so ] and my trades were then taken just fine. How is this different this time? Thanks, ERIC If you place Sell Stop Limit order with a trigger price above the last trade it would trigger immediately. If you sent such an order to Globex, globex would reject it (as stops which trigger immediately are not allowed). Our simulator also rejects Sell Stop orders (Stop Limit or Stop Market) which trigger immediately. ME Why was it working for the past year? What is the alternative? I am not into market orders. |
