I'm a non-professional trader new to Sierra Chart (considering the free trial) and am interested in the data options. I don't completely understand how the feeds work. I am looking to get a standard equity feed and broker, which is not an issue, but I'm also interested in futures. Nothing crazy, just sort of a standard, entry-level package. It seems that interactive brokers offers all of this, but the extensive warnings of data not displaying correctly with this broker are scaring me off. I'm also finding the Sierra Chart options a little confusing. Can I get the real time feeds mentioned above from Sierra? And to trade, would I just use an API from one of the listed brokers so the Sierra Chart, data, and broker are all integrated? I guess I would use the level 2 from the broker? Ideally I think a broker that offers the data I am looking for as well as the ability to trade it would be the best solution. Is there a better option than IB? Thanks for any help. |
