I contacted Transact and they said as of today, they have been inundated with calls from Sierra users and that it is nothing on their end.
In regards to this, it is not true that it is nothing on their end at least in regards to the first postIn this thread. There is quite a clear express account logon error being given.

However, what we are seeing now in testing is they are closing the orders connection without any proper error message. And that condition is something we did not account for even though the orders connection has no longer been required in recent versions. So we need to accommodate that. We will have a new release in about 20 minutes.

So there is a different behavior on their side.
