Thanks. It would certainly be valuable to me for you to give it a try. I suggested hundredths of a millisecond for the sequence number because it lets you have 2 centuries, but if you limit the number of days since the epoch to 65535 (179+ years) then, as you say, you should be able to support a microsecond sequence counter just fine. |
