Post From: DOM Label column not completely centered with CUSTOM_VALUE_AT_Y Drawstyle

Hi John,

The reason I use CUSTOM_VALUE_AT_Y is that I can use the price value to display the SG data value it is holding. The Study Subgraph Above/Below Bar as Text is set to using the CUSTOM_VALUE_AT_Y Drawstyle because of that reason. Your recommended drawstyle will place the label at its SG actual value and not at the price value. So what you propose is not going to solve this issue.

The observation I make is not huge, but just enough to try to get you guys to fix it. The label I show in the pictures is just a tiny bit above the pricelevel I expect to see. The High of the bar is at 2843.25 and the label is just hover above that in the label column. The pink price on the picture is my cross-hair placed at the high of the bar. Do not look at the actual value of the label, that's not important.

Do I need to attach a chartbook?

(edit) the reason I ask is because I am developing a study that is using the mentioned drawstyle on the DOM label column. I use one of your studies to point out my observation. If you for example use The SG reference study and plot say the high price of the current bar in the labelcolumn using a regular drawstyle like Line you will see that that is perfectly aligned compared to the CUSTOM_VALUE_AT_Y and the TRANSPARENT_CUSTOM_VALUE_AT_Y drawstyles. I would like to get that difference fixed.

Frederik
