Internet explorer was functioning fine at the time but this problem did immediately follow my connection going down and me having to reconnect to the router and set up my router settings in my browser following the reset. Everything was back to normal except SC. After another two restarts of the PC Sierra is functioning perfectly again. I'm sure it's all connected somehow but I'm not sure how. As you say it's possible that my firewall (microsoft security essentials) got confused what with all the different connections as I tried to use my mobile phone as a hotspot after the broadband went down. |
