My interest is in relatively short term trading (day trading/ swing trading). For that, I use short term charts ranging from 5 ticks per "range bar" up to 40 ticks per "range bar", and daily charts. I don't need more than a few days ( or weeks) of data for that purpose. However, I would like to be able to download data for a few very long term charts. For example, the Dow Jones Industrial Average. I tried to download 100 years of monthly data for the Dow from Sierra Chart, but was unable to get more than 12 years of data. Am I doing something wrong, or is 12 years the maximum that Sierra Chart provides? Thanks for your help. Peter (By the way, this is important to me.
