Using study "Spread - 3 Chart" I can create a Butterfly spread study to add to the price chart - in this case 5Y v 10Y v 30Y US Treasuries. It shows in Region 2 with normal description at top of chart showing the 3 instruments in the spread. Screenshot attached. If I then select on the "Spread 3 Chart" settings to "Display as Main Price Graph" as don't need to see the input charts, the chart appears but the description from the study does not. See screenshot with spread chart now called the 10Y chart as that was the original/base. I tried adding a custom name/description in the study settings under "Short Name" but this does not display either. Hence Butterfly chart is now incorrectly called 10Y chart. Summary - when using spread chart as main graph need correct description so that can tell what is being plotted. Either showing the 3 instruments or showing the short name (as may want to shorten the text with 3 instruments in one line, or show the ratio between the 3 instruments).
