Yesterday and again today when I opened and left open live short positions on the ETF SPY, with an attached GTC bracket order which included a stop and a target displayed on screen. I took a break but left SC and Interactive Brokers platforms up and running. Several hours later after the market closed I returned to find both platforms up and running still and the positions are still open and displayed on-screen by SC but the attached bracket orders on SC screens have disappeared. But the Interactive Brokers platform (Trader Work Station) shows the brackets still being open. Is this an error by SC or is it normal please? If it's normal, can I reattach the bracket target/stop order and if so only during NYC hours or overnight? Is this function (malfunction?) time-of-day related? Either way, how can I change my actions to eliminate the problem in the future please? I'd like to be able to place GTC orders and have them remain open on-screen with SC until the stops are hit or until I close the position. Thanks as always....
