I use v1689 on Win7, which seems to be reliable. There may be fixes in later releases for things that I'm unaware of but so far I've not experienced any major problems. I now avoid taking the new releases until I have reason to believe they have a fix I need, or a feature I really want. It would be great if Sierra would branch their source to separate Stable releases from versions with the newly implemented features.
