I’ve been trying to duplicate a Median Renko chart I have running on another platform in SC but can’t seem to do it. The charts on the other platform have a Retracement Factor of 0.5 (50%) and Symmetrical Reversals are switched on. I can set the Retracement Factor on the Flex Renko charts but don’t know how to set Symmetrical Reversals. I read the documentation but couldn’t find any reference to Symmetrical Reversals.
Also, I noticed there are two Renko Custom Studies in SC (Renko Chart and Renko Chart Enhanced). I tried the Renko Chart Enhanced study but it appears to be broken. It takes about 5 minutes for the price to update. The Renko Chart custom study seems very good. It’s actually a lot smoother than the built in Renko charts in SC. Is it possible to get the built in Flex or Standard Renko charts working like the custom Renko Chart study? I’ve tried for many hours, but no luck. Thanks If you post an image of a chart from your other platform with its settings there are many here that could probably help you. Renko has been talked to death here the past few months so it's had a lot of attention and development by the SC Engineering team.
