My guess would be that it was the very same SC support person who made the comments on post (#2 and #4). I didn't even know the shortcuts wasn't working, until she being an disabled person was testing out SC, pointed them out. I told her I would post her concerns for her and let her know the answer received. After I sent her the screen shots of the SC support staff responses (#2 and #4) to her concerns. She was shocked at the tone of the response given by a representative of the company to a current customer. We have answered the support request in detail and we did significant testing. And we thought through the potential possibilities of where there would be a problem and provided some potential solutions. The support request was properly handled and we were very clear and honest about it. We are not representative of the company and we are not some "support person". We are the developers. The fact that only the top developers are here on this board answering the questions shows the level of respect that we have to you. If your family member is misunderstanding that, then there is not much we can do about that. It is more of their loss than it is to us. I suppose we could do a remote assistance session to look into this, but generally we avoid those kinds of things for system issues because really we consider those outside the scope of our support. Getting too involved with external issues consumes too much of our time and is a detriment to the entire user base because it takes away time from development which benefits all users. Unless there is more information we need to gain about a problem. Anyway, let us know if you do want us to have a look at this. Because it really seems incredible you would have a problem like this. This is such basic functionality that we have never known to be a problem. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
