We have never known the tab key to ever navigate around a menu in a program.

Windows does not support that.

Sierra Chart uses standard Windows operating system menus.

All of the menus support the Alt key because they are standard Windows menus. They all have single character access. For example, you can use Alt-F to open the File menu. That is extremely obvious when you press the Alt key because you see the letter F underlined.

And once the menu is open you can navigate through with the arrow keys. No one is going to have any trouble with this.

If you do, there are two possibilities. There is a problem with your system. Or possibly through customizing Keyboard shortcuts in Sierra Chart you have set the arrow keys for some other purpose:
Global Settings Menu: Customize Keyboard Shortcuts (Global Settings menu)

If a main menu item is first manually clicked on with the mouse, I can then use the arrow keys to move thru the drop down menu items.
You can do this now.

And you can also navigate around a Spreadsheet Sheet with the arrow keys.

There is nothing for us to fix here at all. Everything you mentioned is something for you to resolve on your side.
