After a lot of analysis we have determined a relatively simple patch for this particular scenario and have implemented it. Unfortunately, one reason this get so complicated has to do with market data controls to comply with exchange rules. The whole thing is just so ridiculous because it makes our work more difficult and it creates some of these these unusual scenarios where things don't work right in regards to historical data.
