Then I load the ES contracts to look at them and then go back to the HG contract the daily Z has reverted back to the U contract.
What do you do to load the ES contract and then what do you do to go back to the HG contract? This is what we are not clear on. Also, if you actually have Chart >> Chart Settings >>Automatically Rollover Futures Symbol enabled for the chart, then the the rollover happens automatically. So you would not even see the message saying that the symbol is expired. What Trading service are you using Sierra Chart with?
