it doesn't work on my version. I am on 1552 pre-release. i.e. I draw an Ellipse in the source chart. Then I go to destination chart and double click the ellipse to open its properties. Once there I can't make changes because it reverts back to original colors, style, etc... But, I am able to change the properties if I right click, in the destination chart, on ellipse and change color, line width.. in the right click chart drawing menu.
