Yes this does make sense:

NOW TO GET THE CHART DATA I HAVE TO DISCNNECT AND CONNECT AGAIN TO GET THE LATEST DATA DOWNLOADED, BUT AS SOON AS IT IS CONNECTED IT STOPS WORKING AGAIN.

This is how a chart works that does not receive streaming data.
