@User94606 I would like to get your perspective on market profile given that you have more experience in using it in your trading. I am trying to assess whether or market profile works. I have the following questions: 1. Do you use market profile in trading the e-minis primarily? do you use in equities trading? >> I use it primarily for the /ES, I rarely trade equities. 2. How long have you been using market profile? >> 2-3 years now, I also use Volume Profile, they each have their place in the toolbox. 3. What works and what does not work with market profile >> Not sure what you mean with this one. It's a different way to organize the data for each auction session, as opposed to looking at a standard bar chart. It also shows value area, POC, VPOC and other info. 4. Would you recommend market profile for someone to learn it? >> Yes. 5. How did you learn market profile? Did you take a class? >> Yes, I took the Jim Dalton intensive last year and it was worth every penny and then some.
