The Divergence Detector has been greatly improved upon.


You must update to the current version of Sierra Chart following these instructions:

Looking at this a little longer, perhaps the problem is with the Angle Difference row. When the main graph angle is negative (ie price going down) and the study angle is positive (ie moving average going up), this is a divergence I'd like to flag but since the Angle Difference is a negative number, it doesn't give a "D" because the Opposite Slope Divergence Threshold is a positive number. So if the threshold is 10 but I have a negative divergence of -20 it won't trigger. Maybe this could look at an absolute value?
