If a study that uses "Display As Main Price Graph" is used to generate user defined bars, then the underlying VAP (Volume At Price) is not generated (or not used) for those bars. This is easy to see by applying a VWAP study that uses underlying data to a chart with this type of study applied. Also, when the VWAP study is applied, the chart data is not reloaded to calculate the data.
