It seems odd that I cannot use only the SC Data without having IB open, You can by following the instructions here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartRealTimeFuturesStockDataFeed.php#ConnectingOnlyOnceAMonthToTradingAccount But you will not be able to use Sierra Chart for trading. All charts in my chartbook (14 in total) were changing from intraday to historical each time I opened SC without having TWS open, but with TWS open it does not seem to happen any further. If you notice this again, we will need to have a remote assistance session to observe this because this should never happen under any conditions. It is considered totally unacceptable behavior. But we know that what you are specifically describing here cannot happen so there must be something else which is causing this. It does not matter whether Trader Workstation is open or not. That is not going to cause this ludicrous behavior with charts changing to Historical. From our perspective it is like what is this all about.
