So i am using chart dom but i can't scroll up and down the price ladder easily without manually dragging it. I wanted easier way of doing it without effecting other charts that i am happy with.

It doesn't sound like we have exactly what you are wanting. The only options are the global options for the scroll wheel as we defined above. There is not a way to set the scroll to work one way in one section and a different way elsewhere (or per chart). Hello John, For AMP I am seeing a new datafeed connection wanted to make sure this will work with SC Denali ALl data service that i currently subscribed to. Please advise on the below 1) Impact on execution between CQG (order routing only) vs. SC DENALI CQG order routing 2) IF, I select SC DENALI CQG ORDER ROUTING ONLY from AMP, what DATA feed connection will be selected on my Sierra Chart. With CQG order routing only I had to select CQG under data feed to trade live, VS. with SC DENALI CQG (order routing only) will I need to select SC DENALI ALL DATA and LIVE trade from it directly. |

We have no idea what the difference is between "CQG (Order routing only)" and "SC Denali CQG Order Routing". They sound the same to us, as they are both referencing using CQG for order routing and the Denali data. You would need to check with AMP as to what exactly the differences are (if there are any), but as long as you are continuing to connect to CQG for your order routing, then your Denali data will be fine. The data is definitely not downloaded every time. You can check the Window >> Message Log to verify that. Also make sure this option is disabled: Data/Trade Service Settings: Download Total Volume for All Contracts for Futures Daily Data (Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Historical Daily Data) Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Hi John, the data is being downloaded every time I close workbook. I am happy to send you a screen shot of anything if that might help you. 2)For Rithmic Connection I am not able to see any server list associated with it. Can you please advise how to add specific associated server to the list? Thanks, |

1. We would need to see an image to see why you believe the data is being downloaded. 2. Once you select the Rithmic service, you need to select OK to close the Data/Trade Service Settings window, wait 1 minute, then open the Data/Trade Service Settings window and then select the pulldown for the list of servers. Refer to the information at step #9 of the setup instructions here: Rithmic Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thanks John, For 1) If open chartbook once for specific rolling example, 1000 days the data will automatically cut off old data and only new data is that right? What message data can i show that can help with correctly select an option that will not historical data every time a workbook is closed. |

This is partially true. When you open a chart it will load the number of days that you have specified. But, if you have the chart open and leave it open, then as new days are added the old ones are NOT removed. You would have to force a reload of the data to get back to the exact number of days you specified. What message data can i show that can help with correctly select an option that will not historical data every time a workbook is closed.

From the Sierra Chart perspective, you can trade from both, but not all order routing services support multiple connections. You would need to check with your broker on whether you can do this with your current trading service. We can tell you that you can do this with the Teton Order Routing Service, so if you are using this service, then you can have multiple trading connections at one time. It sounds like it should work, as these are all separate accounts. But you would either need to try it, or ask Rithmic, as we just do not know how Rithmic looks at this.
