from post #3 Trade DOM Price Scale ( Almost trader does not need whole price digits.)
User defined price scale margin. ( Too wide price scale margin. ) Or users can drag for reduce price scale width. Price scale must be right align. Or show only last N digits. absolutely agree with this +1 which is essentially the same request as DOM Setup point 4 is there a way to bold the last few digits and make it larger font? For example instead of 177875 can it show 1778.75 (with the bold chars one size larger would be even better) to make it easier to pick out.
for ES, 2876.50 i only want to see 76.50 on my chart with dom attached is there a way to just see the last N digits? Date Time Of Last Edit: 2019-03-16 23:10:49

We have added new coloring options that will be available in Pre-Release v 2176 for the following: - Recent Bid Same Price and Side Background Coloring - Recent Ask Same Price and Side Background Coloring - Recent Bid Same Price and Side Text Coloring - Recent Ask Same Price and Side Text Coloring These items have to be enabled to be used, but when they are enabled then when there is an update at the same Price and Side (bid or ask) then it will use these colors. When used in conjunction with the "Last Traded Recent Bid/Ask Background/Text Coloring" then when a new level or side is hit, it will use the "Last Traded Recent Bid/Ask Background/Text Coloring" and if there is an update at that same price and side, then it will change to the "Recent Bid/Ask Same Price and Side Background/Text Coloring". We are still working on getting this for the Cumulative Last Size. We have implemented the following graphics settings to allow another set of colors for the Cumulative Last Size column in the Trade/Chart DOMs: - Cumulative Last Size Bid Trade Same Price and Side Background Coloring - Cumulative Last Size Ask Trade Same Price and Side Background Coloring - Cumulative Last Size Bid Trade Same Price and Side Text Coloring - Cumulative Last Size Ask Trade Same Price and Side Text Coloring These colors will be used in the Cumulative Last Size column, when enabled and the price and side stays the same. This will be out in the next Pre-Release v 2178 For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

The setting for Chart Settings >> Advanced Settings 3 >> Limit Price Displayed To N Right Characters is now implemented and functional. You will find the documentation for this here: Chart Settings: Limit Price Displayed to N Right Characters (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Display >> Chart Display Items menu) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Coming back to this regarding the OP question for: 3.2 The logic how the Cumulative Last Size Background is displayed could be optimized. Currently there is a determination between the Background color of a Bid(e.g. red) or Ask(e.g. green) trade. There is another vendor which does it differently. I would prefer the logic of the Cumulative Last Size background color based on uptick, downtick and same tick. So three different background colors and three different price colors.
The uptick color (e.g. green BG and white text color) is the first traded volume at the ask. After this first traded volume the cumulation of additional volume at the ask is displayed as the same tick color( white BG with black text color). If in this situation the offer gets lifted and the next volume traded is at the Ask side, it would still cumulate as the same tick size (e.g. white BG with black text color). I hope this logic makes sense. I added two pictures which show what I mean. The first picture shows the Uptick logic followed by picture two which displays the cumulation of one more contract coloured in the same tick logic. How can I properly achieve this, the most I can do is flash the uptick for a split second. So I can get the settings right and get the green background with white text for the first uptick or downtick, problem is, it almost instantly (split second) turns to same tick color( white BG with black text color) even if there's no following trade printed yet. So lets say 5 contracts at ask are printed, the background becomes green, then it instantly changes, without any other trade printed. Is there a way to make it stay for as long as there's no subsequent following trade at price? I enabled the 4 options (cumulative last size bid/ask trade same price and side background/text color. |

The only option for what you are wanting would be to set the "Cumulative Last Size Bid/Ask Trade Same Price and Side Background Color" to be the same as the initial color, and the same for the text coloring.

Yes John, I have tried this, but using the above suggestion will remove the white background for good for the subsequent trades at the same price altogether, which is not what I want. Just wanted to replicate the behavior of TT or jigsaw dom, e.g. the red background in a downtick should only change when there's new trade printed. If not, say there's a 3 second delay till the next print, the cumulative should remain red for all duration, not just a split second, which is natural, and only then turn white. Can this be done? Thank you! Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-11-07 09:57:21

We have noted the request, but we can not say when we would get to it.
