Coming back to this regarding the OP question for: 3.2 The logic how the Cumulative Last Size Background is displayed could be optimized. Currently there is a determination between the Background color of a Bid(e.g. red) or Ask(e.g. green) trade. There is another vendor which does it differently. I would prefer the logic of the Cumulative Last Size background color based on uptick, downtick and same tick. So three different background colors and three different price colors.
The uptick color (e.g. green BG and white text color) is the first traded volume at the ask. After this first traded volume the cumulation of additional volume at the ask is displayed as the same tick color( white BG with black text color). If in this situation the offer gets lifted and the next volume traded is at the Ask side, it would still cumulate as the same tick size (e.g. white BG with black text color). I hope this logic makes sense. I added two pictures which show what I mean. The first picture shows the Uptick logic followed by picture two which displays the cumulation of one more contract coloured in the same tick logic. How can I properly achieve this, the most I can do is flash the uptick for a split second. So I can get the settings right and get the green background with white text for the first uptick or downtick, problem is, it almost instantly (split second) turns to same tick color( white BG with black text color) even if there's no following trade printed yet. So lets say 5 contracts at ask are printed, the background becomes green, then it instantly changes, without any other trade printed. Is there a way to make it stay for as long as there's no subsequent following trade at price? I enabled the 4 options (cumulative last size bid/ask trade same price and side background/text color. |
