hello, for some reason I am getting these messages. BuyEntry signal is ignored because maximum Long Position quantity allowed has been reached or would be exceeded with new order. Max. Position allowed: 1. Resulting Position without working orders: 2. Resulting Position with all working orders except exits: 2. Resulting Position with Market working orders: 2. Current Position: 0 SellEntry signal is ignored because maximum Short Position quantity allowed has been reached or would be exceeded with new order. Max. Position allowed: 1. Resulting Position without working orders: -2. Resulting Position with all working orders except exits: -2. Resulting Position with Market working orders: -2. Current Position: 0 I am trying to activate these both at the same time. I am using teton order routing but using sc data to test first. is there anyone who has gotten these before. im sure its an easy fix but im stumped. |

Try checking your account balance and margin settings under Trade >> Trade Account Monitor/Balances Window If you have margin requirements enabled and your account balance is too low, you won't be able to increase your position quantity. There is a Margin Settings section under Manage > Edit Trade Account > Main tab of the Trade Account Monitor. If you are using a sim account, you can increase your balance simply by selecting Balance > Adjust Account Balance. |

What exactly do you mean by this: I am trying to activate these both at the same time.
It would not make sense to do a buy entry and a sell entry at the same time. Especially being there is no current position.What is the quantity of the entry order? It is very difficult and involved, and really impossible without comprehensive information and files, for anyone other than yourself to be analyzing automated trading issues. This type of analysis is very involved. It would be best for you to analyze it yourself. And understand these messages. I did a deep analysis and figured out what was wrong and what I needed to fix. I appreciate y’all taking the time to respond. |
