Try checking your account balance and margin settings under Trade >> Trade Account Monitor/Balances Window

If you have margin requirements enabled and your account balance is too low, you won't be able to increase your position quantity. There is a Margin Settings section under Manage > Edit Trade Account > Main tab of the Trade Account Monitor.

If you are using a sim account, you can increase your balance simply by selecting Balance > Adjust Account Balance.
