Hi there,

I am experiencing an issue with the "Number Bars" indicator, especially when using it with range bars.
The displayed values appear incorrect: I often see a series of zeros or identical values in succession on top or bottom, as shown in the image, which does not seem to reflect actual market activity.

Here are the details of my current settings:
Sierra Chart Version: 2774
Instrument: ESH25
Bar Period Type: Range Per Bar - Standard (in ticks)
Tick size: 0.25
Bar period value: 10
Graph draw type: OHLC Bars

Numbers Bars Setting:
Column 1 text: Ask vol Bid vol difference
Column 2 text: Volume

I have also tried using different tick sizes and range values, but the same issue persists. Is this a bug, or is my setting incorrect?

Many thanks for considering my request.

Make sure your data is stored at every tick. Refer to the following:
Data/Trade Service Settings: Intraday Data Storage Time Unit (Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Common Settings)

And we recommend using the "Range per Bar - True" rather than the standard "Range per Bar" option. Refer to the following on this:
Chart Settings: Intraday Chart Bar Period >> Bar Period Type >> Range Per Bar - Standard (in ticks) (Chart >> Chart Settings menu)

Also refer to the other information at the following link:
Number Of Trades, Volume or Range Bar Charts Do Not Match Setting or Are Not Accurate or Are Inconsistent: Repeating Bars with Number of Trades or Volume Bars
