How do I get TPO chart lines for VAH/VAL/POC to transfer to my price bar chart so I don't have to manually adjust the lines on my TPO chart onto my price bar chart?

You cannot access the VAH/VAL/POC lines directly from a TPO chart. That data is not exposed through the TPO study, so you cannot get to it directly. What you need to do is use the "TPO Value Area Lines" study on the chart where you want the lines. As long as you set the parameters the same as the TPO chart, then you will get the same results. I tried to put the TPO study on the chart and line it up with a regular TPO chart on its own. Attached are the settings. The lines are off by quite a bit and the TPO value lines on the price chart dont line up to the TPO chart. I lined up the times in this picture so the TPO chart was at the same time as the price chart attached. I also put the settings I have for each. |

One thing we see is that the "TPO Value Area Lines" has the Input for "Base on Day Session Only" set to "Yes". We do not know if the TPO chart is setup the same way or not. Be sure to double check this. We can not tell what is occurring from your images as the images are too busy. You would need to give us an image with just the TPO chart showing just the lines (no other studies or drawings) and the same for the regular bar chart. Keep in mind, you can not use the "TPO Value Area Lines" on a TPO Chart. We do not know if this is something you did, but we just want to make sure, just in case. Let me know if this helps. Both are based on Day only. That is correct. I only want the values for 9:30-4PM.
