alright lads, i've already asked this question and you've answered... how do you duplicate the main chart so a copy appears as a study... however i can't find the answer, so here goes again... *EDIT* i've managed to work the above out however i have a new question... ...once the main chart has been duplicated, can i change the time period of the duplicate chart so it's different from the main chart? and if i decide to change the main chart into say a line graph, how do i change the duplicated chart into a line graph also?... i suppose what i'm asking is, can the duplicate chart be controlled autonomously to the main chart? tia |

All charts are autonomous, unless they are connected via linking. Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Linking Keep in mind, if a chart is setup with linking options (even if not actually sharing those linking options with another chart) then when you duplicate that chart, those link settings will follow and the two charts will be linked together, which you may not have realized. If the above does not answer your question, then we are not sure what you are asking and would need more information. There is not a way to do exactly what you are asking for - where you can have one time period in one region and a different time period in another region. The workaround for this is to have 2 charts and have them stacked horizontally one above the other so you have visually what you want.
