All charts are autonomous, unless they are connected via linking. Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Linking Keep in mind, if a chart is setup with linking options (even if not actually sharing those linking options with another chart) then when you duplicate that chart, those link settings will follow and the two charts will be linked together, which you may not have realized.
