Hi, I am not sure if this is a bug or what. But I am using the order window and trading with limit orders. I normally type the price into the box, it says 'Limit: ' then I type in the price next to it. However right now I cannot type in certain prices. The current price of MES is 6019. I cant type in any prices in that box that have a 1 or a 2 after 60. I type '60' then when I press 1 or 2 just nothing happens - it doesnt enter any character. I can select prices that have a 1 or a 2 after the 60 from the dropdown menu and I can place order further away and then drag them to the correct price. But why can I not enter any prices such as 601x or 602x? Is this a bug or am I missing something? Thanks Sorry after I made this post I actually had a moment where it dawned on me what might be causing the problem. I realised that actually I cannot type 1 or 2 into that window at all no matter what the price. I have hotkeys (shortcuts to tools) assigned to 1 and 2. I changed them off that and I can now type prices in. But still then, question remains, can I not use any of the number keys for shortcuts if I want to type number into the chart trade window? As you found out - you can not. The system is interpreting the 1 and 2 as the keyboard shortcuts and not as inputs to the window. Although we do allow you to setup keyboard shortcuts using a single key, we recommend always using a modifier key (shift, control, alt) with each shortcut to avoid this kind of problem.
