Hello! I have a new chart with a new combine that i am trying to finalize.. 2 things are not working.. the F5 button to allow me to change symbols and a variety of other things doesnt work. And 2- when i right click on a line that i want to move or erase, a box pops up with configuration in it.. Can you help me with these 2 issues? Thank you so much

By default, the F5 button is tied to open the "Chart Settings" window. You can then select the "Symbol" page on that window to change the symbol. Otherwise, if you have reassigned the button, then we would need to know what you assigned it to be. We would need to know what the "other things" are. We need specifics or we are unable to help. when i right click on a line that i want to move or erase, a box pops up with configuration in it
There are no settings that would cause this to occur, and we are not able to reproduce it. Is it the Drawing Configuration window that comes up, or something else? The F5 button on a keyboard is a shortcut. so instead of clicking Chart, then chart settings, the shortcut is a quicker way for me to make changes. it immediately takes me to the chart settings area. Does that clarify in order to fix it? For the other issue, I cant upload a screenshot because the message "configuration" does not appear when i follow your instructions. so to clarify this issue, if i go to tools, use the horizontal line for example to make a level on the chart, right click it, i can either erase it, extend it, move it --etc etc...NOW, if i right click, a configuration message appears which i cant do anything with. Hope i am making sense. Thanks so much |

Regarding Keyboard shortcuts, select Global Settings >> Customize Keyboard Shortcuts. Press the "Set All To Defaults" button. Press OK after that. Update Sierra Chart to the current version: Software Download: Fast Update And then select Global Settings >> Customize Chart Drawing Menu >> Use Default >> OK.
