You would need to turn off the connection to the data feed (File >> Disconnect). Then when you want to continue, select "File >> Connect to Data Feed".

yes, but in this way I lose time and sales data. Data that I can't recover when I reconnect SC. Is there another way to make it stop moving? thanks

If you just scroll down and not have the very top item showing in the window, then it will not scroll back up as items are added. So you can view a particular area of the Time and Sales.

When I scroll down, the time and sales figures keep moving, though, just not from the top. This makes it difficult to read a particular area when market is busy. |

We are not understanding this statement. We just tested again to make absolutely certain there weren't any changes, and as expected, if we scroll down a bit, so the top-most line is not displayed in the Time and Sales Window, the values do not move. You may see the vertical scroll bar change, as more lines are added at the top, but the actual values you are viewing at that moment will not change. If you are seeing something different than this, then we need to understand what you are seeing exactly. Hmm, if I scroll down a bit using the scroll bar, the time and sales values do continue moving. They move backwards, in fact. Right now, it's 1:15 PM. I just scrolled down to 12:30PM. The T&S keeps moving, but backwards. I haven't touched anything else, and I type this, it's showing me 12:21PM. This weekend, I'll look into sending a screencapture or whatever you require to see this. |

This behavior is normal once, the entire time and sales internal list is filled. Although not sure you would see the times go backward. We would have to think about that. But certainly continued scrolling is normal. We will add a stop command. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
