I have an issue where I have the Trade Positions window open and I place and order, I am using order allocations for multiple accounts. The orders show up in the 'Trade Positions' window for 7 seconds then it goes blank. I then will cancel the order and the positions show again for 7 seconds and goes blank. Why are the orders disappearing? Really need this window to work to be able to close multiple trades if there is a error in positions. |

What is your "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Main Settings >> Current Selected Service" set to when this occurs?

What you describe indicates that the Rithmic server is not transmitting the positions in relation to the order fills.

No, It shows the positions and order fills and works fine for 7 seconds, then it all disappears from the Trade Positions window. The trade orders window works fine, the Trade Account window works fine. It's only the positions window that works fine for 7 seconds, then all data disappears. |

What you are seeing is Sierra Chart updating the Trade Positions Window from the fill but the Service Position Quantity field remains at 0 since Rithmic did not send a position update and then the position is cleared. Discontinue the use of Rithmic or discontinue Sierra Chart. We are not going to be responding further. We are declining further support. We have no interest in Rithmic business. Actually there is a workaround for this problem. You can use the "Order Fill Calculated Position": Trading Information Windows: Using Order Fill Calculated Positions In Special Cases Although it is not an ideal solution.
