Instead of volume profile shapes, provide an option for columns. See the attached where I am trying but unable to position these columns "Side by Side". Each column represents, from left to right: Visible Bars, 45 Bars, Intraday.... etc. If some how these columns were positioned side by side then confluent hi/lo volume areas could become more easily seen and within a much tighter space. Perspective is everything! One attachment uses an opaque mask demonstrating the column result and the other is transparent showing the actual profile shapes behind the overlayed black background subgraph. Those are the basic volume profiles from the Volume by Price study. In this example, it's Total Volume colorized from a bright pink POC to dark pink or black. It could also be any of the bid/ask combinations available in the Volume by Price study. I can see this providing a much cleaner chart without all the horizontal HVN and LVN lines. If we are understanding this correctly, you can already do this with the Volume by Price study using the "Color Code Volume Bars Based on Percentage of POC" options. The only thing it really sounds like you are asking for is to have these as a single column and not the actual profiles. Is this correct?
