I use the cumulative Delta - Volume study on my chart on 2 separate machines. I have differences in the ask/bid volume difference between the two instances. Therefore, the Cumulative Delta study does not read the same value either. Is there a setting for the calculation methodology that I may have overlooked?

Make sure that both systems are set to store the data at every trade (1 tick): Data/Trade Service Settings: Intraday Data Storage Time Unit (Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Common Settings) And then make sure that the Session Times are exactly the same, the bar period is the same, and that the time from when the data should accumulate is the same. Thank you John. I've done all that. To be specific: I copied my chartbook and my 4config file between the two machines. The settings are exactly the same and I installed SC on both machines fresh when I discovered the issue, but that did not solve the issue. It is still there. Cumulative Delta is different, Bid/ask volume difference is different, Zig Zag is different. The Data/Trade Service settings are also identical (Data storage time unit is 1 tick). Barperiod is 1000 Volume bars on both.

Is the number of days to load the same between the systems? What is this set to? Is the option for "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds" set to "Yes" on both systems? Thank you John, The number of days to load is set to 30 days on both charts/machines. Datafeed settings, allow support is set to Yes. Session times are the same and the Cumulative Delta study resets at the start of the trading day on both machines/charts. |

The next thing to do is to delete the data in both installations to make sure that nothing is missing. We can not say which one is correct or incorrect, so you really need to delete the data in both. To do this, make sure the chart is active and select "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download". Let us know if this resolves the problem or not. Thanks John. Yes that does solve the issue today. I tried it yesterday several times and it did not solve it then. So I think it will remain a mystery what caused it, but for now I'm in sync again. Thank you very much for your help.
