AMP account is live but verify trading account is still expired

Hello, I haven't logged in in a long time and my "verify trading account" countdown is expired. I recently logged into AMP and made sure to re-active my account. How does sierra check that my account is verified after it's setup on AMP side?

You need to connect your Sierra Chart software to your AMP account in order for the "Verified Until" date to update.

If you need help with connecting to your AMP account, then we would need to know what trading service you are using with AMP.

Initially I had selected Denali with cqg but realized I needed Teton so I requested to switch. Seeing if Thursday amp will get back to me. Not sure if sierra has to do anything on sierra side as well

yea I still get the error that my account is not assigned... might just go to stage5 and leave amp. at least the docs mention stage5 is preferred Easy Solution to CME Funded Trading Account Requirement

Make sure you have the correct "Clearing Firm" selected for your setup. It should be "AMP".

If you have the Clearing Firm correct, then you need to check with AMP to ensure that they actually completed the setup. If they state that they did (which they have already stated) then have them check the Account Name that they entered. Make sure the Account Name that they entered matches your Sierra Chart Account Name exactly. If it is incorrect, then let AMP know that they need to redo the setup with the correct name.

If neither of the above fixes it, then let us know and we will have to contact AMP on this.

In addition to checking the Clearing Firm setting in Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Main Settings, also update Sierra Chart to the latest version. Instructions:
