New Candle not forming precisely when the timer countdown ends

New Candle forms a few seconds after the timer countdown ends.

Attaching screen recording for reference - please forward it until the end near the candle close

Is that few seconds mismatch including trades for those few seconds? (looks like there is some activity during that mismatch)

Or is the calculation done precisely based on what my timeframe is?

What study are you using to display the remaining time?

Do you have the option for "Display Continuous Time Countdown Based on Real-Time Clock" set to "Yes" in that study?

If so, then your computer clock is off slightly from the exchange clock, which would be why you are seeing the delay. To set your computer clock, refer to the following:
Global Settings Menu: Set System Date-Time from Server (Global Settings menu)

Or you could set that option to "No".

I tried to set that option to No but then it would show me the remaining time in all seconds.

I want it Minutes and seconds

Changing the Input for "Display Continuous Time Countdown based on Real-Time Clock" does not have any impact on how the countdown timer is shown.

The Input for "Display Value Only" will do this, but not the above.

And, as we stated, the other option is to ensure that your computer clock is matched to the NIST time, which is what the exchanges use. In addition to setting it once, Sierra Chart includes a Network Time Protocol option. Refer to the following:
Network Time Protocol Client

In my experience, the NTP function can only be used with Windows administrator rights. To do this, start Sierra Chart by right-clicking on the icon and select Run as administrator.

Yes that is correct. Run Sierra Chart with Administrator level access.

I did that. in my sub instances at the NTP status its saying " Wait Another SierraChart Stops NTP Client". What is that supposed to mean?

And do I have to select a server or is that done automatically?

NTP should be running on the main instance of Sierra Chart only. It just needs to be running on a single instance of Sierra Chart only. Not multiple. Just one instance only.

In the sub instances, disable NTP by going to Global Settings >> NTP Settings in each sub instance and set NTP Client Enable to No.

Yes, you need to select a server. You can also have multiple servers, which will help to make your system more accurate by averaging out any latency from a particular server.

No, the NTP server list, is just a list of the servers which are being used. They are all used in parallel. All of the servers are used. Just leave them as the default.
